Swiss network infrastructure expert Cablex relies on Lettershop Connect by iDPARC

Lettershop Connect by iDPARC is the all-inclusive solution for your output management. With Lettershop Connect, you can generate, print and send your customer correspondence with just one click. Whether print or e-mail, regardless of volume, all correspondence is mailed on the same day, guaranteed without errors.

Corporate customer correspondence can quickly become a challenging task, as different departments use different IT applications. In contract management, for example, confirmation letters and legal agreements with data from an ERP system should be created, printed and sent directly to the customer at the touch of a button. In contrast, Customer Service must be able to create and send individual letters in addition to standard documents. Marketing may want to add advertisement messages or flyers to all invoices sent to customers.

However, all departments have a common requirement:
Every outgoing document must be sorted, printed, enveloped, franked and sent to the post office on the same day before the post office closes.
Regardless of which department a letter comes from, it needs to always comply with corporate identity guidelines.

By using Lettershop Connect by iDPARC, Cablex can successfully solve these challenges.

Lettershop Connect acts as a central processing hub for all of a company's outgoing mail. Different mailings for the same customer are combined in a cost and environmentally efficient manner. Of course, hybrid dispatch by e-mail and/or paper mail to your customers is also supported.

How does Lettershop-Connect work?

1) Collecting the correspondence

All outgoing letters are collected first. Imagine a sorting machine that has a funnel structure at the top into which you can feed any type of data and documents. These could be Word, Excel, PDF or XML files coming from other IT platforms. Preconfigured interfaces to ERP systems such as ServiceNow or SAP are already built in.

In case not directly printable data (such as XML or JSON from interfaces) is supplied, Lettershop Connect uses DocGenie® by iDPARC, which can independently generate printable documents from this data with a perfect layout according to your specifications. Multiple language requirements are also handled automatically.

2) Sorting and preparation of documents

Before closing of daily business, all collected customer documents are processed and sorted by Lettershop Connect. The letters are enriched with additional data as required and optimally prepared for being processed by a highly automated printing specialist (lettershop). The graphic below illustrates an excerpt of the diverse processing options:

3) The Lettershop Layer

After perfect preparation and pre-sorting by Lettershop Connect, all documents are transferred to the third party lettershop via an interface for fully automated production processing and controlling. After receiving the data, the lettershop takes care of all physical tasks, such as printing, enveloping, AVZ (task directory) and the final dispatch to the post office.
